Cascade Ridge

Project Details

Cascade Ridge is a secluded subdivision located in the Village of Caledonia, Racine County, on the north side of Racine. This subdivision covers approximately 21-acres and contains only 25 single family lots. The subdivision conforms with the Village of Caledonia Conservation Subdivision Ordinance. The subdivision contains four outlots that will be maintained in perpetuity by the Homeowner’s Association. One of the outlots is a 4-acre parcel. Every lot in the subdivision fronts on the four acre outlot, providing a truly unique view. The center outlot will contain a small retention pond on the northern end, with the remainder of the outlot planted with turf grass for the use and enjoyment of the subdivision residents. One of the other outlots is approximately 3.9-acres, is wooded and will provide a special area within the subdivision to enjoy nature. All of the outlots will be protected under a Conservation Easement Agreement. 

The subdivision is platted to contain a “loop” within the property with a stub street on the far north property line. The entry to the subdivision will contain a roundabout and will be bordered by two outlots, one on either side of the street. One of the outlots will contain a landscaped area and entry monument and the other will be planted with prairie grasses and flowers. Property values will be protected by Restrictive Covenants and there will by By-Laws for the Homeowner’s Association.

Hwy. 31, south of 4 Mile Road, to West Johnson, east on West Johnson to Dutchess Drive, north on Dutchess Drive into Cascade Ridge.
